I used to work in music as a studio engineer. It was a fun time: I recorded a few of my favorite artists, made lifelong friends, and eventually ran a studio. To break into the industry I moved to New York at 18, skipped college, pulled all-nighters and figured things out along the way.

During the Covid-19 lockdown I was introduced to product design, and after some time in both worlds knew software was what I really wanted to do. I taught myself design over the summer of 2022, was lucky enough to be given a shot, and 1,454 days later it’s still my day job.

Today I spend time designing, biking around the city, and sharing what I know.
