Before tech, I worked in music as a recording studio engineer. It was a good time: I worked with a few of my favorite artists, made a few lifelong friends, and eventually ran a studio. To get there, I moved to New York City at 18, skipped college, and generally figured things out along the way.

A few years into that career, I was introduced to product design and decided that’s what I wanted to do. I taught myself to design over 3 months, was given a chance, and 1,450 days later it’s still my day job.

Today I spend my time designing, biking around the city, and sharing what I know.
